BeachCheck^TM is an easy-to-use kit that tests the water at your beach for E. coli. Just collect a water sample and ship it to us. The kit contains everything you need, including complete instructions. Our scientific professionals will analyze your water, interpret the results and send you a report in about a week.

Coliform bacteria. They’re invisible. Contamination of surface water by E. coli and other bacteria poses a hazard to swimmers and to pets that drink the water. Contamination by fecal bacteria also indicates the potential for contamination by even more dangerous pathogens from animal digestive systems, including bacteria, protozoans (such as Giardia or Cryptosporidium) or viruses.

Contaminated waters can be as clear as the water from your tap. A laboratory test is necessary to determine whether dangerous numbers of bacteria are present. Is your beach safe?
